When is payment due?
For 1/2 Day/Full Day In-Person Assistance, a deposit of 50% will be due upon reserving. The remainder shall be paid upon completion of the service. For all other services, payment is due after services are rendered.

How much do you charge for translations?
The prices of our Japanese to English translations are determined by:

Please note: Rush/emergency assignments cost more, so be sure to give ample time before a deadline.
I reserved for ½ Day/Full Day In-Person Assistance, but I have to cancel. Can I get my deposit back?
If you cancel over 48 hours before your reservation, you can get 100% of your deposit back. If you cancel 24-48 hours before your reservation, you can get 50% of your deposit back. Deposits for reservations canceled less than 24 hours beforehand are not eligible for reimbursement.
I need ½ Day/Full Day In-Person Assistance in less than two days. Can I still reserve?
Yes, you may still reserve, however, please bear in mind that if you need to cancel for any reason, you will not get your full deposit back.
How do I cancel a service reservation?

How do you calculate transportation costs?
Transportation costs include any gas ((km driven/kpL) x current price of gas), tolls, trains, taxis, etc. needed for Bunka Buddy to get to you and back.
Is there a phone number to contact Bunka Buddy?
Yes! It is 080 2394 4878. However, This is number is only available in Japan. For inquiries from outside of Japan, the best way to contact Bunka Buddy is by email or Facebook messenger.
